A Strong Brand from Day One – The Birth of RuToki
RuToki is the vision of a Belgian entrepreneur starting a business in Kigali. What begins as a small shop offering banana-based products popular with Rwandans is actually the start of something bigger: a future household brand and possibly a full-scale supermarket.
Dutch Tembo was asked to create a logo that would stand out immediately, build trust, and feel familiar to local shoppers — all while leaving room for future growth. We combined the shape and colors of a banana with a cheerful cartoon leopard — a friendly character that’s easy to recognize and connect with.
Positive Reactions
The final logo was fully custom-built in Adobe Illustrator. The typography was carefully integrated into the leopard character to form one solid visual identity. Our client immediately recognized it as the perfect expression of his vision. It’s distinctive, playful, and technically strong — ready to hit the market with confidence.
